Dr. Fred Novice is a board-certified Dermatologist, board-certified Dermatopathologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Boards of Pathology and Dermatology. He enjoys all aspects of Dermatology, specializing in cosmetic injections.
Karlee Novice, MD, FAAD
Dr. Karlee Novice is a board-certified Dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and focuses on general, procedural and cosmetic dermatology.

Erin K. is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Fred Novice, MD, FAAD, FRCPC
Dr. Fred Novice is a board-certified Dermatologist, board-certified Dermatopathologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Boards of Pathology and Dermatology. He is also board-certified in Dermatology in Canada and a fellow of the Royal College of physicians and surgeons of Canada. A native Canadian, originally from Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Novice completed his medical degree and internship at the University of Toronto and a fellowship in clinical dermatology and dermatopathology at McMaster University Medical Center in Hamilton Ontario.
Dr. Novice completed his 3-year dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI where he was selected chief resident. He furthered his study with a Dermatopathology Fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Dr. Novice published his textbook, the “Handbook of Genetic Skin Disorders” (WB Saunders 1994) as well as many articles in multiple peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Novice has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology and is one of the most experienced injectors in the world with over 30 years of experience with Botox® and filler injections. He has trained many colleagues in the most advanced injection techniques. Additionally, as a board-certified dermatopathologist he has great expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer providing direct clinical pathologic correlation on all the lesions treated. Dr. Novice has been selected by Styleline magazine in Its Metro Detroit’s Best Dermatologists section in multiple successive years.

She graduated magna cum laude from Lehigh University. Dr Karlee attended medical school at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine where she graduated cum laude and with a distinction in research and scholarly activity.
Dr. Karlee completed her preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center prior to moving back to her hometown, Detroit, Michigan to complete her Dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital where she was selected as chief resident. She is published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr Karlee is skilled in numerous procedures including skin cancer surgeries, ear lobe repairs, nail procedures, cyst and other benign tumor excisions. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and received world class training in complex medical dermatology. She is highly trained in cosmetic injections of neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport), fillers, and kybella as well as on various lasers, light sources, acne scarring treatments, hair loss treatments and other skin rejuvenation procedures and products. She is on staff at Beaumont Trenton Hospital.

Erin is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor School of Nursing in 2005. She graduated from Wayne State University Masters of Science in Nursing in Adult Primary Care in 2012. Prior to specializing in dermatology, she practiced hospital-based medicine in both cardiology and intensive care, but always had a passion for dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners, and the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. She resides in West Bloomfield with her husband Casey, children Ava and Brody, and mini-Goldendoodle Zoey. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends.
